There will be lots said and lots written on this Easter Sunday; but nothing is more powerful, or more joyous than those three words. HE IS RISEN! God has given us the gift of a new life through the sacrifice of Christ and the miracle of His resurrection.
Through the mercy of God...we get a second chance. We get to be re-born. We get to start over and do it better the next time. All we have to do is accept Him into our lives and ask for His help. I am comforted by the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus and I bless His holy name for the joy of the resurrection.
So when you put on your finest hat, your brightest color and that new suit you bought especially for church on this Easter Sunday...just before you walk out the door; shout out loud: HE IS RISEN!
It will put a smile on your face like you have never seen. Have a blessed Resurrection Sunday.

ReplyDeleteI did not realize that you were a born-again Christian. I am sister in the Lord, too. In the art world most are either atheist or agnostic, so I have to live my life as an example of the power of the Lord. I recently recommitted my life after a dry spell, but keep in my heart the date, September 26, 1972 because that was when I asked Jesus into my heart and life. I continue to seek His face daily in all of my tasks. Because of him, I am healed from the wounds of a violent childhood. That's how I know He is real. He changed my life and created a new creature in me. Thank you, Star for allowing me to share my love for the Lord with you. I respect your journey and see how you have come to reflect His love and forgiveness. I can not tell you how transforming your interview on the Oprah show was in understanding "Star Jones". Thank you for exposing your self and being vulnerable. That is what being a Christian is all about for me. Revelation and change. Abundant blessings to you and all those whom you love.
