Matthew 7:18-20:
A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.
Star's Interpretation: There comes a point in your life when you realize:
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

ReplyDeleteI read the book of Matthew last week and this scripture really stuck out to me. People sometimes have a hard time letting go of relationship (friend, work, S.O, etc). This scripture lets me know it is okay to cut people out of my life. I just have to remember the lesson God was trying to show me.
This is so on time Soror. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI couldn’t agree with you more Star. It has taken me 30 plus years to realize who matters, who never did and who won’t or who always will and I’m still learning. I believe people come in and out of our lives for different reasons, good or bad. I agree we must be careful who we choose to give our friendship to. My husband thinks it’s a trust issues, but it’s far from a trust issue. Who has the time to want to entertain fake people? Time is valuable, I have a lot to accomplish that I haven’t. At this point in my life I’m learning not to allow fake people to come in and exhaust me.
