...Dying to Eat in Jackson,"
Roundtable discussion,
I created this blog on the occasion of my 47th Birthday in March 2009 to celebrate what is blessed, good, smart, stimulating, interesting, inspiring, fun, joyous and positive in my life, my community, our country and our world. I vow to only elevate those thoughts, words and deeds of my gender and my race that are examples of excellence and something we can all aspire to! Happy Birthday to me!
Your comments are welcome as long as they are in keeping with the spirit of this blog. They must be positive about your life, your community, our nation or our world. They must elevate...not denigrate...and if you criticize me or my position...state your name and email address so I know who you are and can address you directly. My blog...my rules. Star
STAR THANKS but that was a bitter pill to swallow. MS is ranked last in HEALTHCARE, EDUCATION and HOUSEHOLD INCOME. This RED state will continue to be on the bottom unless there is a CHANGE in legislation. Congressman Bennie Thompson was the only congressman to vote for Health Care Reform. Black people in MS are not getting all the information they need about healthcare treatment and options. Dr. Timothy Quinn is EXCELLENT he has a spot on black radio WKXI where he shares medical information. It is an EXCELLENT avenue to speak to a black audience about healthcare.
