The racist action and words by the pool club president took me completely off guard. Why have we reverted back to the 60's? Today in 2009, where have we gone wrong in our country to warrant that type of racism - blatant or veiled? And how do we explain the actions of the club to our children, especially after the most historic election of our lifetime?
